JOIN US FOR OUR 9th ANNUAL TOUGH GATOR CHALLENGE at Geiger Elementary School from 10:00am-2:00pm!
The Tough Gator Challenge is an obstacle course and mud run for Lewiston-area elementary school children and their families. The next (rain-or-shine!) event is scheduled for Saturday, June 8th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Geiger Elementary School on College Street in Lewiston. Participants will start in waves every 15 minutes throughout the day.
Now in its 9th year, the Tough Gator Challenge is Maine’s premier mud run for kids, drawing nearly 700 participants annually. Family members of all ages are encouraged to register and participate together.
The focus of the event is on being active, using teamwork, getting muddy and having fun! It is not a timed race, but a challenge everyone should be proud of finishing. All YOUTH finishers will receive the honorary title of “Tough Gator” and a youth T-shirt, generously donated by Geiger.

Geiger Elementary PTO Mission:
1. To support our educators in providing our children with the best educational, recreational and social experiences.
2. To act as a communication and resource tool for parents in the school community.
3. To support Geiger Elementary School by raising funds which go directly to the school in order to enhance facilities and compliment programs offered to our children.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit Geiger Elementary School PTO
